To be recognized as a Grade 2 centralized IT Park, in addition to conformity with the planning or being approved of investment policy the Prime Minister, this park must have at least 80% of the total labor and at least 1,000 laborers/ employees working in the profession of information technology and whose bases belong directly to the same managerial organization or there is a joint venture, partnership for operations.

However, according to the Ministry of Information and Communications, the centralized IT Parks may not fully have all the functional subzones as mentioned above, but the total area of the subzoning group performing the functions of a centralized IT Park is to ensure an occupancy of at least 60% out of the overall centralized IT Park. The residential subzone for experts must not account for more than 5% of the overall centralized IT Park area.
