May, we begin to strategically compel a whole new group of “Summer Serve” people to be able to jump on in!
Summer Serve has become a strategic part of our ministry rhythm! We have learned all over the past seven summers that this not merely affords our leaders a break, but it gives us the opportunity to meet a whole brand new “pond” of people for you to fish from!
What must i mean by that? All year long, our people experience amazing instructing and worship in “big church.” God will be working in them and growing them into the likeness of Jesus! By visiting some point, people will be ready to take a step of faith toward a serving role, and that we have found that Summer Serve is a superb time for them to make that first step out of their seating and into service!
What do we do? We put a laser focus on the serving experience in the summertime. We want fresh people to help you realize that serving is a joy. These come in willing to be able to help! But if they experience Jesus working through them impacting kids, we hear them say: “I didn’t know it was like this!” “I adored it; when could I do this again?”
Every single Sunday, we pray “God, display me today who so that you can faucet on the glenohumeral joint and invite into service!” That never fails. He does. Every week, somebody shines! So we request. And now we wait to find out what God does! People come back. We obtain to determine them and encourage them again. And by the final from the summer, we don’t even need to fish—they are jumping into the boat! And our rosters are full of fresh people so that you can love on for the new season! And the “old” people return too!
