Well....for one...I sure can sympathize with you honey...You're in an age where you'd like to be more independent...and when "Mom" can "be a nerd"...embarrass you, etc.-

But...on the "other side"....check out the response of the "O.O" person...who wishes...the Mom would "care enough" to go....see it from that point of view honey...Your Mom CARES...wants to support you...be a "part of you"....

Besides....why don't you put yourself in ---HER position--- for a moment...Let's imagine..."twenty years from now"...when you're ...."a MOM"...wouldn't you wish to show your daughter that you ----C A R E---- Just try to put yourself in ...HER... position....maybe THEN....you understand better !!

Furthermore....true friends will respect and understand the situation and will still "be friends"...even if your "grand-ma" would accompany you....-smile-

Even it's difficult at times, honey...you should still be glad that you have dedicated parents....and "one day" when you have kids yourself...you'll understand...and look back....and laugh at the "conflict" you're experiencing at present....-smile-
