• MEGAPIXELS. One of the most important features of digital camera to make it into the best digital camera category is its mega pixel property. The higher the mega pixels the better the actual photograph will come out. A mega pixel is equivalent to one million pixels. The resolution of your image is based upon the mega pixel property of your camera. This means that as you enlarge the picture, you would get more detail and less blurry colors. All the technical skills in the world can't give you an "eye" for photography. But, by learning various composition skills, you can improve your photography dramatically.
Kodak EasyShare Z981 can be found on Amazon for $227 (with free shipping). Kodak is known for their user friendly features and this one is a great entry-level SLR camera because of the easy to use features. It also has excellent technical specs such as the 14mp resolution and 26x optical zoom feature for a low price. This is actually a really good deal because many point and shoot cameras with the same specs (and less optical zoom) cost more than $227. Aside from that, you are getting many SLR features to introduce the entry-level person into SLR cameras.
When you display a digital image on a monitor, the only thing that determinesthe size of the image is the pixel count and aspect ratio. DPI and PPI (and I'llexplain them later) mean absolutely nothing. If your image is a 480Kbyte filewhich is 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels wide, it will display as a full screenimage if you are using an 800x600 display. It doesn't matter if your DPI is setto 1 or 1000 or if your PPI is set to 1 or 1000. This is 100% true as far as webdisplay goes and as far as any monitor display goes - unless some softwareintervenes.
First, position your model at a window. The light coming from the window should be bright, but not direct (i.e. not coming directly from the sun). You model should be facing you, side on to the window. Light from the window light will obviously light up the side of their face that is closest to it. Then, position something on the other side of your model that will bounce reflected light from the window onto the other side of their face. Anything white or reflective will do, for example a piece of white cardboard or a sheet of aluminum.
Were there any repairs to the camera? Look closely at the camera screws with a magnifying glass. If the screws are even slightly marred it shows proof that someone was playing handyman. Look in the battery corridor and see if there is any corrosion. Corrosion is usually white colored and can easily be removed with a little alkali cleaner. If the damage is serious don't buy the camera. If it is not that bad, see if you can get it at a discount and try to clean it after you buy it. Make sure that you can return it in case the battery corrosion cannot be cleaned away.
The image sensor of a digital camera reads the intensity of light getting into the camera to process an image; while the digital memory space, whether through a camera's internal memory or through an external memory device, stores the digital information as an image file. Unlike with film photography requiring film developing and printing before seeing the actual photo, a digital camera readily displays the photo taken through the LCD screen. The camera can be easily connected to a computer for archiving, photo manipulation or printing. Some cameras also allow manipulation of the photos from the camera or direct printing from the camera.digital camera tips</a>' class='aligncenter' style='display: block;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;' src='http://ssheltonimages.com/img/a3/a37/Digital_Photography_Tips_Digital_Camera_Photography_Tips.jpg' width='250' />
Now these files are pretty big and they can be compressed quite a lot withouta significant drop in quality. This is where JPEG (Joint Photo Experts Group)comes in. JPEG is an algorithm designed to work with continuous tone photographicimages) which takes image data and compresses it in a lossy manner (this meansyou do lose some information). The more you compress, the smaller the file butthe more information you lose. However, you can reduce file size by a factor of10 or so and still get a very high quality image, just about as good as theuncompressed image for most purposes.
