%%Khúc Thừa Dụ and the Khúc family (905-923) : At the end of the Đường dynasty, China was in disorder. In 906, the people of Giao Châu proclaimed the dignitary Khúc Thừa Dụ ruler in replacement of the Chinese governor having gone home. During 25 years, Khúc Thừa Dụ and his offsprings successfully strengthened the self-control conscience for the country (in preparation for the decisive phase of Ngô Quyền). But later, his offsprings yielded to Nam Hán dynasty and our country was under the Chinese domination again.
