%%Nhà Nguyễn (Nguyễn Dynasty) was founded by Nguyễn ánh in 1802. Strengthening the absolute monarchy, Nguyễn Dynasty restored and highlighted the Confucianist ideology, applied the severe ruling policies. In its prosperous times, Nguyễn Dynasty contributed to consolidate the reunified nation, laid down policies favourable to cultural development. The Vietnamese literature made many excellent achievements (Kiều Story, poems of Hồ Xuân Hương...). The kings were Gia Long, Minh Mạng, Thiệu Trị, Tự Đức, Dục Đức, Hiệp Hoà, Kiến Phúc, Hàm Nghi, Đồng Khánh, Thành Thái, Duy Tân, Khải Định, Bảo Đại. Nguyễn Dynasty reigned during 143 years (1802-1945).
