Giải thích EN: An open-ended, inverted-U-shaped glass tube used to determine the relative densities of two liquids. Each end of the tube is immersed into one of the liquids, and suction is applied to the cross limb of the hygrometer; the heights to which the liquids rise above the surfaces of the liquids in their reservoirs are in- versely proportional to their respective densities.
